I can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving. At the time of recording this episode, it’s 11/23/2021 as we approach the Thanksgiving weekend. I hope all of you have a turkey dinner or any dinner planned with your loved ones. The older I get the more I realize the value of family time and being truly present in our lives. 2021 has flown by for me partly because it was a tough year of transitions, additions, transformations, integrations, and life changing experiences that allowed me to shed much of the layers that I needed to shed for a long time.
I’ve been happily divorced since 2014 and I’ve decided to finally change my name back to my maiden name. I feel as though I’ve come home again.
It Has Always Been Within Us
For so long, I’ve lived a productive but busy life trying to get somewhere. I used to think anywhere is better than here and now. So I pursued and the more I achieved, the more I was seeking until I realized what I was seeking is not outside of me.
It was within me all along.
Fear and doubt kept me from leaning into my intuition and trusting my inner voice. I wish I had the confidence that I have now back when I was growing up to know that I have always been, is now, and always will be complete just as I am. There’s nothing to achieve, chase, or become to be “worthy” that I am worthy for being me.
I used to find meaning through my work. Always working, studying, getting to the next level, always chasing something I felt I didn’t have.
I am now sick and tired of chasing something that has always been within me. So going forward, I plan to fully lean into who I am with all my knowledge, trusting in full faith that my intuition will guide me toward the direction I need to go.
Only I can serve as the compass for myself. After almost 4 decades of living a life trying to blend in and do right by the people around me, I finally realized that my happiness and contentment is the most important. That’s not selfish or something to feel guilty about.
Because when I’m happy and content, the whole world will benefit too.
The Missing Part in Our Career
So today I’d like to talk to you about what’s missing in our careers. What’s missing is our ability to “integrate” the various systems into one healing system that can be super charged for optimal health and productivity.
Too often in our careers, we are left defending our limited scope of understanding. When we do this, we only end up with a myopic vision of our future. It’s only when we can look at the big picture and understand how things come together for integrations with the whole systems that we learn the miraculous healing power within each and every one of us.
The Alkaline Method™ for Practitioners
This is precisely why I’ve created the unique method, the Alkaline Method ™ where we integrate the four essential elements to use as a framework and guide post to make each whole again.
- Transformational Psychology
- Modern Medicine
- Ancient Wisdom
- Business Mastery
Yin to the Yang, Acid to Alkaline, it’s the who shebang that finally makes sense of chaos.
Knowing Our Foundation as a Practitioner
Foundation of who we are is the most important. Think of the driver of the car and the car. We can fix the car to run efficiently and smoothly but if the driver doesn’t know where they’re going, they’ll make the car run super slow or strain the car because they are constantly losing control over the car.
It’s the same for us. Our bodies are like a car and our driver is our brain. Yet we don’t take the time to truly “connect” to our bodies for optimal healing and wellness.
This is the problem that most patients are dealing with. So if you’ve been seeking training after training to satisfy cont education requirements or if you’ve been seeking a better way to apply your knowledge in your clinical practice, look no further.
